Registration of Foreign Citizens

What it is

Depending on their citizenship, the purpose and the length of their stay, foreign citizens in Kyrgyzstan may be required to register their place of stay with the migration authorities within a set period after arrival. Short tourist visits by citizens of many countries do not require registration, but longer stays, work and study often do.
